The CORE is a Northern California band that performs innovative, exciting arrangements of classic rock, pop, soul and country songs. Comprised of five talented singer-musicians with many years of performing and recording experience, The CORE is (from left) Anthony Martinez (lead and backing vocals, keyboards, guitar), Brett Palm (bass), Jeffrey Nation (lead vocals), Robert Pina (drums), and Tommy Lafferty (lead guitar and vocals).
The CORE is available to perform in all settings, from small intimate venues “unplugged” with or without microphones or amplification (“Acousti-Core”) to large concert halls using a full PA system, lighting system and drummer (“Electri-Core”). In any setting, The CORE’s dynamic sound brings out the essential elements of each song, highlighting the material itself though expert musicianship, exquisite repertoire selection, and beautiful vocal harmony.
